Hello all. Just a couple of things:
1. I will post group assignments here before the start of the first class.
2. It is important to keep up with the blog and check it often for necessary info and updates.
3. It is also important to familiarize yourselves with elearning. You will use this outlet to post discussion and find out what to do for your assigned chapter in the learning module section. Make sure you know what to expect before each class by looking at learning modules and also what to discuss with your group for your group posting in the discussion area.
4. Each group will post a discussion response for each chapter!!!!
5. I can be emailed at any time and will do my best to answer any questions or concerns you have in a timely manner.

Hello all...
Just wanted to introduce myself here again. Hopefully, you have all checked out the elearning class site. If not, please do. I am expecting my second child on the 11th of January at 7:30 am. This means that I will not be in class for the first two weeks or four meetings. I will be very involved. I will be grading your learning modules and discussion posts. I will also assign your groups. I have substitute instructors stepping in during my absence and they will facilitate your learning.
However, the first few weeks have alot to do with you. You will form groups and present summaries of chapters and class discussion questions. (I have entered guides under "learning modules" in elearning. I have posted guides for the first 5 chapters there. In class, you will give summaries and then spark a class discussion using the questions I have posted. After the discussion, groups will meet briefly to discuss the question posted in elearning. If time runs out, it is up to your group to find time to meet and decide who will post for your group. I expect everyone in the group to post at least once between chapters 1-5, therefore TAKE TURNS!!!
Everyone should have the reading done prior to class. In addition, all members of the group should also be aware of the discussion question prior to class in order to discuss your group response in class. Be ready to participate in discussion both in class and as a group for the post.
I have posted the expectations for the learning modules and chapter one discussion question. In addition, I have set up your gradebook and put a link up for your syllabus. However, I am not sure it will work. You will receive one on the first day of classes as well.
You are all welcome to email me with any questions or concerns at any time. I will do my best to get back to you ASAP!!
