What is due, clarified..

Okay, here is the sum up.

-one page summary (group)
-outline (group)
-analysis (individual)

As a group turn in a one page summary about what you learned from the chapter and how you applied the 7 concepts to your project. This can also include any pertinent information about individual contributions if you would like me to know.

As an individual, you are to analyze your group in terms of the concepts in the blog entry describing the analysis. Some examples are leadership style, cohesion, climate etc.

Go back to "older posts" if you need to find this post describing these two assignments. The grading rubrics are also there.

In addition, you will also turn in a completed outline before you begin your group speech. You are welcome to turn in any other contributing work like your group notes and proposals etc. However, I will only require the outline, individual report, and group summary.

Feel free to email me with any further questions.

Couple things...

I want the group speech working outline turned in Tuesday, April 20th in class.

Please remember that the group speech is just that, a group effort. Individuals need to be involved and groups need to work together. If a member is absent or unavailable, it is up to them to find out what they missed. It is up to the group to work with that individual to keep them involved.

I will pass back papers on Tuesday!!

Group Project notes:

In class on Thursday, April 8th...

You will turn in a summary with the following included:
- individual roles in the project!!
- the decided format you will present: examples are talk shows, game shows, reality shows etc. YOU MUST CHOOSE A FORMAT TO PRESENT, YOU CANNOT MERELY STAND UP AND TAKE TURNS TALKING!!! I also encourage interaction with the class, it goes over well.
- names of members present.

When you do present your project either on the 27th or 29th, you will need to turn in the following:

- Outline with names of all participants and their names in parenthesis after their parts in presentation. I should be able to follow your speech via your outline. This should have a works cited page as well.

- These summary reports from today and Thursday (4/6 and 4/8)

- Your group 1 page summary discussing what you learned from chapter 13 and potentially how you incorporated it into your project if it was not clear from your presentation.

- Your individual report analyzing your group interaction applying the 7 criteria as listed in the blog.

- I will have a rubric for you on the day you present, you can find the grading criteria in the blog where the assigment is described.
